HANOV: Jewelya Suzanne -

A resident of Chatham and formerly of Cedar Springs, Jewelya Hanov passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the age of 26.

Born in Windsor, Jewelya was a loving daughter of  Anne-Marie Lucio and Michael Hanov, as well as Tim Lucio.

Jewelya will be dearly missed by her older sister Olivia Snyder (Mikey Bronkowski) and younger sister Ava Lucio.

Adoring Aunt to Lilly Dempsey.

Cherished granddaughter of Rosalind Janovicek (John), the late Michael Hanov (1981), Margaret Snyder and the late Terry Snyder (2016), and the late Ken and Beatrice Lucio.

Also missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.

Jewelya was a vibrant, beautiful soul, whose radiant personality was loved by so many. She always captured the hearts of so many as she was known for her deep love and caring for others. She was always standing up for the underdog and always spoke her mind. Jewelya was also known for her incredible loyalty: her friends and family always admired her loyalty and devotion to those she cared for most. Her lively spirit and beautiful heart will be missed by those she has touched over the years.

A Private Family Service will be held for Jewelya at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Jewelya to Hope Haven or the Pet and Wildlife Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
