Obituary of Marilyn Gellner
A resident of Brantford, and formerly of Chatham, Marilyn Gellner passed away surrounded by family at the Hamilton General Hospital on July 22, 2024 at the age of 83.
Born in Chatham, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Pierce and Viola (née Soper) Armstrong.
Loving mother to Philip Gellner (Michelle) and Sharon Tracey (Will). Proud grandmother to Destini, Pierce (Makayla), Christopher, Andrew and Caleb.
Marilyn is survived by her brother Fred Armstrong and sister Bonnie Tew. She is pre-deceased by her brothers Bill, Robert, Jack and Murray Armstrong.
In keeping with Marilyn's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday August 3, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service to Celebrate Marilyn's life at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Dresden Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Marilyn to 100 Huntley Street would be appreciated by the family.
