Stewart: Keith Stanley -
A resident of Chatham, Keith Stewart passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the age of 91.
Born in Chatham, Keith was the son of the late Stanley and Olivia Sophia (née Whittington) Stewart.
Beloved husband of 71 years to the late Ilene Stewart (née Lusk).
Cherished father of Gary Stewart (Susan), Randy Stewart (Jan) and Scott Stewart (Diane).
Proud Grandpa to Erin Stewart Eves (Trevor), Kyle Taylor-Stewart (Andy), Erica Stewart (Jay), Jared Stewart (Kristen), Lauren Stewart (Rob), Julia Stewart, Victoria Vanlammeren and Chris Scott (Angela).
Great-Grandpa to Grady Eves, the late Campbell Eves, Griffin Eves, Olivia Martin, Cooper Martin, Hannah Stewart, Madyson Dittmer (Branden) and Myles Dittmer. Great-Great-Grandpa to Alaina.
Predeceased by his older brother Roy Stewart (late Dena).
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Keith was the founder of Keith Stewart Insurance Ltd. When not at work, Keith could often be found fishing or cutting the grass.
As per Keith's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg and for the compassion of the PSWs who cared for Keith at the house.
