Obituary of Lucas Paul Edwards

Lucas "Lukey" Paul Edwards became our angel on July 28, 2024 at 22 months & 1 day old. 

Loved beyond words by his Mommy and Daddy, Natalie Edwards (nee Mallette) and James Edwards. 

Lucas and his big brother, Colton and Big sister Emery had a special bond that will never be broken. 

Lucas was perfect in every way. 

Best Little Buddy to Grandpa (Paul Mallette) and Grammy's (Jacqueline Mallette) little Lukey-poo.

Godson of Uncle Greg & Aunt Myria Mallette who adored him. 

Loved by his cousin crew, Olyvia, Jamisyn and Hadley Mallette. 

Lucas had a special light about him and was "the icing on the cake" to our family, including his special furry companion Meeka. 

He loved Cocomelon, swimming, tractors and any sport. 

Our lives are shattered by his loss.

He will be missed and cherished by his family and many friends. 

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of St. Mary's Hospital, Victim Services of St. Mary's, London Children's Hospital, staff & guests of Windmill Family Campground and to all of the first responders who cared with such compassion. 

Family to receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 2:30 pm until a Celebration of Lucas' life at 4:30 pm. Cremation has taken place.

Please feel free to come in casual dress. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Health Foundation in support of London Children's Hospital or PAWS United - London through the Funeral Home by cheque.
