Gagnon: Norman Ambrose -

After battling a long illness Norman Gagnon passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on August 4, 2024 at the age of 84. 

Born in Essex, Norman was the son of the late Edmond and Hilda (née Rocheleau) Gagnon. 

Beloved husband of 59 years to Nancy (née Bartosek).

Loving father to Suzette (Ralph) Devolder , Steven (Grace) Gagnon and Sheri Millsum (John O'Rourke)

Proud grandpa (Tata) to Clare, Seavers, Spencer and Rachel.

Caring brother to Lawrence (Theresa) and Deanna (Robert).

Norman will be missed dearly by family and friends.

He was very dedicated to his Faith and family was very important to him.

The family would like to extended their appreciation to the Bayshore staff especially Carla and Kristen for their care and compassion. They would also like to thank the staff at the Chatham-Kent Hospice for taking care of Norman throughout his final journey.

Family will receive friends at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. There will be a Funeral Mass held at Our Lady of Victory Church, 490 St. Clair Street Chatham on August 8, 2024 at 11:00am. Burial to follow. 

Donations made in memory of Norman to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, Canadian Food for Children or the EWTN network would be appreciated by the family.
