Labadie, Barbara "June"
Born September 24, 1928 at McKay's Corners, daughter of the late Harry and Olive (nee Jewell) Holmes.
Predeceased by husband Helier (1978), son Bobby (1951) and brother Ira Mac Holmes (2017).
Survived by son James (Karen Weaver) of Lighthouse Cove, daughter Barbara of Chatham, sister-in-law Joyce Holmes.
She will be missed by nephews Richard Holmes, Rodney Holmes, Joseph Rizzetto, Larry Reaume, and Mark Reaume, nieces Tracy Johnson and Shirley Marchand, many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.
June was a long time employee of Robert Bekaert Machine and Tool Repair as well as the Chatham Daily News.
Family will receive guests during a visitation on Tuesday, August 20th, from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m at McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham. Interment at Botany Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of June to the Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
