Stimpson: Kathleen "Kathy" Elizabeth (née Poland) -
A lifelong resident of Chatham, Kathy Stimpson passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with her family at her side on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the age of 76.
Born in Chatham, Kathy was the daughter of the late Andrew and Marcella (née Pratt) Poland and daughter-in-law to the late Charles and Daisy (Ambrose) Stimpson.
Beloved wife of 53 years to Bob Stimpson.
Loving mother of Rob Stimpson (Christina) and Mandy Waddick (Dan).
Proud Grams to Taylor Stimpson, Bailey Stimpson, Tanner Horneman, Kaitlin Horneman and Carson Horneman.
Dear sister to Connie (Mark), the late Colleen (Allan), the late Bill (late Darlene) and Debbie.
Sister-in-law to John (Joyce), the late Bill and Joan (late Alun).
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
As per Kathy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Kathleen to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
