Hatt: Joan Marie (née Rhea) -
A resident of Highgate, Joan Hatt passed away Friday October 4, 2024 at home, surrounded by family, following a year and half battle with cancer.
Born in Leamington, Joan was the daughter of the late Alton and Annette (née Young) Rhea and daughter-in-law to Ethel Mailhiot.
Beloved wife of Chris Mailhiot.
Dear mother to Lisa Priebe (Brad), Sarah Priebe; step-mother to Spencer (Hailey Liberty) Mailhiot.
Proud grandmother to Corrine Wigle, Cohen Fox, Summer Demaat, Cruz Fox and Kaius Carron.
Dear sister to Dennis (Fil) Rhea, Wade (Steph) Rhea, Peggy (late Bernie) Bondy.
Private family arrangements will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown. Cremation to follow.
