Obituary of Alexander Burns O'Brien
Alexander Burns O’Brien passed away at his home on the Eau Road surrounded by the love of his family on Monday October 7, 2024 in his 94th year.
Alex was born in Blenheim, Ontario in 1931, one of twelve children of Robert and Mary Anne O’Brien (nee Noble). Alex served his community and loved his neighbours and friends.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years Mary (nee Campbell), and his children John and Anne, Jane, Jim and Scott. Beloved grandfather of Heather (Jamie), Ian, Erin (Jonathan), Austin, Edward and great-grandchildren Iain, Elliot and Isaac.
Private family funeral service will be officiated by his nephew Rev. Jeff Kingswood on Saturday, October 12th. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery Blenheim.
Memorial Donations to the Blenheim Medical Health Foundation (blenheimhealthhub.com) would be appreciated.
A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11th at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim.
