Obituary of Anna Louise Lamb

Anna Louise Lamb (nee Bartle) passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 86. 

Born in Brantford, she was the daughter of the late Sydney & Francis (nee Summerhayes) Bartle. 

Anna will be reunited lovingly with her husband of 66 years, William (Bill) Lamb (July 2, 2024).

Anna will be forever remembered by her son Gordon William Lamb (Sheila) & her daughter, JoAnne Louise Snow.

Proud grandmother of Matthew Lamb (Matthew), Lindsay Lamb, Byron Snow & Kourtney Snow. 

Survived by her brother, sisters, nieces, nephews & extended family. 

She was a Graduate of the Brantford Collegiate Institute. Anna & Bill enjoyed their time camping, with the National Campers and Hikers Association. They loved their years of extensive travel together throughout the world - there was truly no place unexplored. The family will forever be grateful for the many good times at the home Dad built in Mitchell's Bay.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of the 4 East Floor of Riverview Gardens Nursing Home for their tremendous care and compassion during mom's time with them. As well as to the Alzheimer's Society for their support and friendship. 

Family to receive friends & family on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service to take place on Thursday at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity/St. Paul's Anglican Church, 81 Selkirk Street, Chatham. Burial to follow in Owen Cemetery, Dover Centre. 

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Anna, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
