Moor: Eileen Mary Rose (née Peltier) -
A resident of Chatham, Eileen Moor passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on October 31st, 2024 in her 94th year.
Born in Tilbury East, Eileen was the daughter of Charles and Helene (née Simard) Peltier.
Cherished wife of 69 years to Stanley.
Beloved sister to Joanne (Edmund) Tetreault and sister-in-laws, Kathleen Peltier and Eleanor Peltier. Predeceased by her late siblings Raymond (Evelyn) Peltier, David (Teresa) Peltier, Archie (Carmel) Peltier, Douglas Peltier, Jerry (Bernadette) Peltier and Peter Peltier.
Forever remembered by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family would like to say thanks to the staff of the Chatham Retirement Resort for the care given to Eileen in the last 6 years and to the 4th Floor Medicine A staff for their care. A special thank you to the staff at the Chatham-Kent Hospice for the comfort shown in Eileen's final hours.

Visitation for Eileen will take place on Sunday November 3rd, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm and a Funeral Liturgy at 2pm Monday November 4th, 2024 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street in Chatham.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation can be made in memory of Eileen at McKinlay Funeral Homes and would be appreciated by the family.
