Obituary of Margaret Pittuck

Pittuck: Margaret Jeanette (née Foster) -

A resident of Chatham, Margaret Pittuck passed away at the Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus on November 2, 2024 at the age of 78. 

Born in the United Kingdom , Margaret was the daughter of the late Duncan and Elizabeth (née Peel) Foster. 

Margaret is reunited with her husband Ray Pittuck, and leaving behind her best friend and loving companion Regis Huneault.

Wanting to have a fresh start to build their family, Margaret and Ray gathered the courage and moved from all of their family and friends in Bicester, England back in 1977 and moved to Chatham Ontario.

Margaret became a loving mother to Martin (Kristine) Pittuck, Neil (Kelly) Pittuck and Colin (Cindy) Pittuck.

Adored Nanny to Keegan, Alison, Jenna, Lauren and Carter. 

Bonus Nanny/Grandmother to Joel, Kayla, Carly, Nicholas, Gabriella, and Gracelyn. 

She was very family oriented and kept in touch with all of her loved ones across the pond and she will be deeply missed by all.

Margaret was an avid knitter, a splendid cook, and was known for her caring and giving nature, always helping those around her. She volunteered her time for VON and her absence will be felt. Margaret was a lover of animals and will be longingly remembered and cherished by her dogs Chancey and Mitzy-Sue.

Family to receive friends on Wednesday November 6, 2024 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 1:00pm until the Funeral Service to celebrate Margaret's life at 1:30pm. A private interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Donations made in memory of Margaret to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
