Wither: Frances (née Henderson) -
A resident of Chatham, Frances Wither passed away peacefully at her home on November 8, 2024 at the age of 87.
Born in Ayrshire, Scotland Frances was the daughter of the late William and Maggie (née Allan).
Reunited with her loving husband Ian.
Loving mother to Gavin (Donna) and James.
Caring grandmother to Spencer, Callum and Peyton.
Frances was a hard worker, she worked for Union Gas for 30 years before she retired. She loved going out for coffee with her girlfriends to catch up and go shopping. Frances was known for her green thumb and her beautiful gardens she tended to. She was an avid traveler with best friend and companion Ian making many trips to Scotland. Frances was a very family oriented woman, she adored her grandchildren, always dotting on them and letting them and her friends know how proud she was of them and their accomplishments.
She will be deeply missed by many friends and family.
The family would like to thank mum's neighbors Tony and Maria for helping take care of Frances and her family.
Cremation has taken place, Frances and Ian will make their final trip home to Scotland, where they wish to be scattered.
Donations made in memory of Frances to the Alzheimer's Society of Chatham-Kent or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
