Obituary of Stuart Dunlop

Dunlop: Stuart Francis -

A resident of Chatham, Stuart Dunlop passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on November 13, 2024 at the age of 77. 

Born in Chatham, Stuart was the son of the late Bert and Bea Dunlop and was predeceased by mother Edythe (née Cates). 

Reunited with loving wife Linda (née Ross), and leaving behind life companion and best friend Lorraine.  

Loving father to Joanne (Ed) Sinclair, Janice (Jeremy) Stallaert, Jason (Danielle) Dunlop.

Cherished papa to Alicia (Chris) Lozon and Ethan Sinclair, Carson, and Emma Lernout, Jaiden Stallart, Addison and Jaxson Dunlop.

Great-papa to 4. 

Loving brother to Duane (Alana) Dunlop and predeceased by sister Janet Langstaff.

He will be deeply missed by many brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Stuart was a lifelong farmer, who loved cutting the grass and was well known as the parts manager at Mid-County Ford. Stuart enjoyed camping at Wildwood for 40 years. He liked to travel and cruise in his 76's Buick Skylark with partner in crime Lorraine. Stuart was a family man at heart, he was very proud of his children and the families they have created.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm. 

A Celebration of Stuart's life will be held at the Funeral Home at 11.00 am on Monday, November 18, 2024. Interment at Owen Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Stuart to the Dover Centre Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
