KUMPESS: Michael Paul -
A resident of Chatham, Michael Kumpess passed away in the comfort of his own home on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the age of 76.
Born in Chatham, Michael was the son of the late Paul and Rosalie (née Bechard) Kumpess.
Beloved husband of 47 years to the late Cherie Kumpess (nee Faubert) (2015).
Father to Todd Kumpess and Jason & Heather Kumpess.
Grandpa to Jeffrey Kumpess (Amber).
Great-Grandpa to Liam and Logan Kumpess.
Brother to Pat Cranstone (David) and Lynda Charbonneau (Paul).
A special heartfelt thanks to Michael's PSWs, Crystal and Robin and to his daughter-in-law Heather for her support and care over the years.
Michael worked for 20 years as a butcher before becoming the owner operator of Kwik Stop Variety with his wife Cherie.
A Graveside Service will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham at 1:00pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
Donations made in memory of Michael to the Chatham-Kent Animal Rescue, Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
