Johnston: Trish (née Tiegs) -
A resident of Chatham, Trish Johnston passed away peacefully at the Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus with family and loved ones by her side on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the age of 65.
Born in Windsor, Trish was the daughter of William and the late Marion (née Dodge) Tiegs.
Cherished wife of 41 years to Don Johnston.
Loving mother of Josh Johnston (Jaclyn) and Rachel Bruin (Cody).
Very proud Mimi of Emilia, Ainsley, Lyla, Lydia and Grace.
Dear sister to Tim Tiegs (Laurie) and the late Billy Tiegs.
Sister-in-law to Carol Delorme (Vic) and Richard Johnston (Sandy).
Much loved Aunt to Bethany Tiegs and Madeline Tiegs (fiance Cody), Robert Paun, Megan McAllister and Kristal Flowers. Predeceased by her nephew Jonathan Tiegs.
Also missed by many friends and extended family.
Trish began her career at St. Joseph's Hospital, before passionately taking on her role as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Education with the Lambton-Kent District School Board.
Trish enjoyed fitness, yoga, meditation and reading. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and granddaughters.
Trish will be remembered for her compassionate nature, positive attitude and how she radiated love and light.
A Celebration of Trish's Life will be held at the Links of Kent, 120 Indian Creek Rd W, Chatham on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 3:00 - 6:00pm.
Donations made in memory of Trish to Chatham Goodfellows or Chatham PAWR (Pet and Wildlife Rescue) would be appreciated by the family.
