Obituary of Elizabeth Batch
A resident of Chatham, formerly of California, Elizabeth Batch passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 98.
She was the daughter of the late John & Julia (nee Kelly) Walko.
Liz is lovingly reunited with her late husband, Alfred Batch (1993) and remembered always by her daughter, Monica Batch.
She is predeceased by her siblings, John Walko, Richard Walko, Mary Lyles, Lydia Grady and by her nieces, Jackie, Patsy, Judy & nephew, Richard.
Liz retired as an Insurance Underwriter for many years in California. She was a devoted member of Evangel Community Church, enjoyed spending time with her daughter and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2025 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 12:30 pm until a Celebration of Life at 1:30 pm. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
In memory of Liz, donations may be made to Evangel Community Church.
