Only the other day my mom and o drive by the old house on crane drive and reminisced about my fond memories there. It was so many years ago but I will not ever forget my dearest friend at the time and her wonderful brothers. Thank you for sharing all of the wonderful things Steve did in his life. Drugs are a demon that can no longer reach him. He is free of their stranglehold. My sincerest condolences to everyone in the family

Our condolences to Mr & Mrs Wheeler and the Wheeler family. Steve was gifted with the ability to be as generous with his time, as he was in his compassion for others and I am so fortunate..... that he shared some of his time with me. I admire Steve for many reasons but most especially, I admired him for his inordinate love of Christ regardless of his present circumstances. His unwavering faith in scripture and his ability to share it with such certainty and gentleness, is an example I will always aspire to emulate.
Lucie and I pray that your cherished memories of Steve prove a great comfort to you all in the coming days, as we await the day that we will all stand rejoicing in God's presence.

My sincere condolences to the entire Wheeler family. I can recall fishing with Steve, Jim and their dad in the early years. Steve was a good guy and sounds like he turned into a great man helping others with their struggles through support and providing life opportunities. A sad time but also a time to remember the good. To Steven's family and extended family.
We wanted to convey our condolences. Steven and Josh were neighbors of ours and they were so nice and mannerly. We are so sorry to hear about Steven. Steve was always working with something electrical and I can attest to his fishing qualities which he instilled in Josh.
