Dear Families of Aileen Mitton;
Our deepest condolences of Love and Sympathy in Christ Jesus who was her joy, her hope and strength in this life! We are saddened in her passing but rejoice in her Homegoing!! We were unable to be at the visitation or livestream service and for that we are truly sorry. She was a special lady and we had many great visits with her and Lloyd and after his passing, with her alone and with Katherine and Daryl. She was one of those rare jewels among women and we grew to love and appreciate her for her hospitality, her graciousness, her genuineness and sincerity of heart and purpose, always keeping her door open to anyone who needed a visit or a word of encouragement. We thank the Lord for her life and for giving us the opportunity to know this amazing woman of Faith!!

To the Wilson family,
I was sorry to hear of your mom's passing.
If it hadn't been for my dad helping your dad. Plus my mom helping your mom at your farm on the same day, my parents may never have met. Whenever I was back in the community, your mom always said hello and would inquire on how I was doing. It was always wonderful to catch up. Our families connected many times over the years - as neighbours, as kids going to the same schools, riding school buses, community groups and church. May your memories help carry you through this difficult time.

Dear Beth, Ross and all of Aileen's family:
Beth, so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.
Our families intertwined on occassion as we were growing up and particularly through Kenesserie Camp. You and I developed a special friendship, Kitchen Camp Mates, sharing the cabin and you and Ross were a memorable part of my first wedding.
I will always remember you and your family visiting me with your Mom and Dad in Edmonton. We have not been super close as our lives moved through the different stages of life but I know I can always visit, be welcome and feel almost like I had never left.
I will always remember your Mom's welcoming smile and how she always made me feel special!!

To all of the Wilson Children - The memories of our family connections from Turin as next door neighbours are numerous. Your mom and dad made the best caramel popcorn balls for Halloween and the Turin Sunday School Christmas Concert candy bags. One of the last few times that I spoke to your mom, was just before my mom, Alice Manning passed. Beth was driving your mom to an appointment. Your mom was able to help my sister June and I finish piecing together the story of how our parents met each other at your parents farm. Thinking of all of you at this time, but know that there are many memories out there of your mom as she touched many lives. Those memories will help you get through some of the most difficult days ahead. Hugs to all of you.

We are very saddened by Aileens passing. Aileen was an amazing woman with a heart of gold and a quick, great smile. We always enjoyed visiting with Aileen and Lloyd. Whether taking a stroll in thier neighborhood or going to dinner at Swiss Chalet, or Molly & OJs. Fun was always had when Aileen was around. My sincere condolences to all the family.
Your mom was always " Mrs. Wilson" to me, even as an adult. I have so many precious childhood memories of birthday celebrations, campfires and just ordinary days. Your mom was always so nice and accepting, and now as I look back 60 or more years, I realize there were plenty of differences between my family and yours, but not to your mom ... or dad. She always extended the invitation to Turin Church's Christmas concert and my sister and I felt so privileged to attend, being Catholic and all! The years on the next door neighbour farms were so special and I will forever feel we are next door neighbours thanks to your mom and dad. The picture you have posted is just the way I remember her with that lovely smile. I think we'll all be neighbours one day again!
