Glen I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember when we were pretty young that Marg took us to Detroit and to the zoo and shopping. It was such a great trip. We always thought of the pool as Marg's pool and of course we lived for spending time in it when we were young. I even remember getting in it when it was 68 degrees! Only for a second, LOL. And while we haven't remained close over the years, especially with me living so far away, I always enjoyed catching up with everyone at the family reunions. The girls of course loved the dogs since they prefer them over people;-). I wish we had more opportunities to see everyone and especially under better circumstances. We love you lots. Hope to see you soon. Glenda, Ana and Eva (now Madison).

Glen,
I am so sad to hear of Marg's passing.
As a family, we have such fond memories of you and Marg and always re-tell many Ure stories! As kids we loved coming to visit, to see the dogs and explore the bed and breakfast. We laughed at so many things Marg did - the Dobermans allowed to sprawl on the couches with the tv left on for them when she left home, her bringing yet another pet home from the clinic and my mom telling her, "Glen is going to kill you" and her chuckling and saying, "No, he won't." Or the rooster she took to the taxidermist for you - that's a popular one that's always retold! At Christmas I loved coming to see the B & B decorated and the Christmas tree with all the lights was not something you saw in every home back then. Marg went all out in everything she did.
Marg was such a kind and lovely woman. I'm so glad I spent some time with you both the other year when I had her sweater knit - talking about dogs and cats and life, and again sharing lots of laughs. My heart is with you. xo

We are devastated to hear this news. We spoke last week, Marg was so happy to have Glen home. Chris and I have very special memories of this beautiful couple going back many years. Besides raising three of her lovely pups, Finn, Fan and Greydon, we forged a long lasting friendship which has endured to this day. Kind, generous, thoughtful and meticulous with her dogs, Marg was a one off. You always knew you were getting the best of the best with her. Just two weeks ago our son Will picked up a new pup, a wee girl, who came from her most recent litter. I will always think of Marg as we watch Winnie grow. Rest in peace Marg and hug all those wonderful dogs for us. We love you and will miss you dearly..
